An update for you from Michael Fanner – so you know what is going on.
Tuesday the 17th, we were very fortunate with the weather again for our visit to The Deer Park Country House.
Six members, some accompanied by husbands were welcomed by the estate Manager Oliver Forster and allowed to disburse where they wished.
Most seemed to favour the superb walled kitchen garden and orchard, we were allowed to collect fallen cooking apples and I was presented with a case of in house cider.
We gathered for lunch on the terrace and discuss the mornings work. Most elected to stay on and paint into the afternoon.
I have now handed over the running of En Plein Air to Eunice Knott with the guidance of Joan Joyce.
Eunice has attended all En Plein Air sessions is very enthusiastic and I am sure will guide this part of the Society forward.
With very best wishes,
Michael and his wife are moving back to Salisbury to be nearer their family. We would like to thank him for creating and planning the En Plein Air sessions. They have been most successful.
We wish you both every happiness in your new home and new life in Salisbury.
