Seaton & District Art Society 53rd. Annual Summer Show
Here’s what is in store…
1. The Seaton & District Art Society 53rd. Annual Summer Show will open to the public between 10am and 4pm Saturday 9th. – Saturday 16th. August, and 10am – 1pm on Sunday 17th. August.
2. The venue will be the United Reformed Church Hall, Cross Street, Seaton EX12 2LH. This hall is large enough for a full-sized Show, using all 40 of our new display panels. The venue is very close to the Gateway and there will be lots of signage to direct visitors.
3. Therefore, there will be no extra restrictions on the number or size of pictures you can show. Entry fees will be unchanged from 2024.
4. There will be an extra provision for displaying greetings cards.
5. As in 2024, 3D work will be welcomed as individual pieces, or you can book a table.
6. Entry and Submission forms will be similar to 2024. For judging purposes, you’ll need to indicate the category in which your work is entered. We will pre-print labels as before
7. There will be a Preview evening with refreshments from 7pm – 9pm on Friday 8th. August.
8. As in 2024, the show will run over two weekends to give the maximum number of visitors the chance to see and buy your work.
9. Prints are welcomed in our folio browsers; hanging space is for original works only.
10. There will be a Monday Club section in the entrance lobby.
11. The Show will be FREE for the public to enter.
12. And, last-but-not-least, ONLY paid-up Members are eligible to enter work.

So, all-in-all, with monthly Demonstrations, Monday Club, Workshops, trips out, not one but two competitions to enter and the Summer Show to look forward to, it’s going to be a busy year for S&DAS Members.
