GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS (GDPR)
1. The Society’s Data Controller is deemed to be the Membership Secretary.
2. The Society collects and uses only such personal information as is required for communication with the current and potential Membership. This may be in written and/or electronic format.
3. Member information collected will include name, address, contact phone number and e-mail address and be retained by the Society for the duration of their Membership.
A Member is deemed to accept this upon joining, but can opt-out at any time, in which case their Membership will cease and their data will be erased.
4. Members should advise the Membership Secretary of any changes to the data held in 3.
A Member may request a written copy of the data held by the Society on application to the Membership Secretary.
5. The data of Members who do not renew by the 31st. March deadline will be erased.
6. Data of Potential New Members will be held for 6 months only from the date of enquiry after which time it will be erased.
